Origami Workshops with Yukka Origami
I’m on a mission to promote origami because it’s so good for you! Did you know that origami supports mental health, mindfulness, and memory? It helps develop problem-solving skills and even stimulates the mathematical side of our brain. It’s especially beneficial for older adults as it keeps their minds active and supports memory functions. For young children, it helps develop hand-eye coordination and supports brain growth—and, of course, it’s great for everyone in between!
Workshops are a wonderful way to experience these benefits while connecting with like-minded people in a relaxed, creative environment. Origami is such an enjoyable pastime—easy to pick up, and all you need is a piece of paper! It’s therapeutic too—there’s something magical about transforming a flat sheet of paper into a 3D object with just a few folds.
